My way to work.

This is where all begins. I have just got out my home. It's still night but it's not very early really, maybe 7.50 am.

After a short walk I arrive at the street where I usually take the bus.

And like always happen, the bus is totally crowded. Sure, I could use my car, it would takes me only 15 minutes but I work in the center of Madrid and, simply, there are no park places.
In the other hand I pass very near to several of the most well-known buildings of Madrid. In fact most of the times I take the tourists path.

The place where I left the bus. Kind of heavy traffic.

This is Moyano st., now it's a pedestrian street. It's known by the book sellers stands (left side), you can find rarity books and some bargains.

Two different views of Prado Museum.
Close to the Ritz hotel is the Spanish unknown soldier.

Cibeles Square, where Real Madrid used to celebrate their victories.

Two views of the Communication palace, formerly the site of Spanish state postal service, now the Madrid Town hall, where the mayor has his office. So, there's the 2016 Olympic candidature logo: a multicolored hand.

Another view of Cibeles square. You can see the temperature: 7º C, mild, but maybe not warm enough to justify the advertisment ;-D.

And the end of my way to work: the confluence between Alcalá Street and Gran Via. Another day I could publish some touristic details, but not now. I'm afraid I have some work to do.

PS All photographs were made on 15th January with my smal compact camera, mot much quality, very poor light.

hey! great photos! i love your way to work:P you're probably bored with your way to work, but i'd prefer it to mine. on the other hand i work on the outskirts of bucharest (it's a new sattelite town of bucharest actually) so it's just crowded, not "touristical"

PS: i'm the "rumana"

Gracias, Heptafon. Me haces creer que sé inglés.

Si te gusta...
